Terms and Conditions

These terms describe how Ryft Development works with customers, what is included in each service and how payment operates.

Last updated: Awaiting review before publication

This document is a plain-English starting point prepared for Ryft Development. It is not legal advice. Please have it reviewed, and complete the company details, before the site is published.

1. Scope of work

Each project is delivered against a written scope confirming the package purchased, pages or services included, revision rounds, delivery expectations and price.

Work outside the agreed scope, including unusually complex features, is quoted separately and only carried out once approved in writing.

2. Prices and currency

All prices are quoted and charged in pounds sterling (GBP). Website packages have an initial project price; the Deluxe Website also carries a £100 monthly charge and the Premium Website a £200 monthly charge. Google Business Profile management and website care plans are separate recurring monthly subscriptions.

Prices shown as 'from' are starting prices and depend on the agreed scope following technical assessment.

3. Deposits and payment

Projects begin once a 50% deposit is received. The remaining balance is invoiced before launch. Remaining balances are not charged automatically without appropriate authorisation.

Card payments are processed by Stripe. Payment collection is not active until the payment account is connected and tested.

4. Subscriptions

Monthly services renew each month until cancelled in accordance with the notice period stated in your agreement.

Where a bundle includes a first month of Google Business Profile management, that is one month only and does not commit you to an indefinite subscription. Continuing the service afterwards is optional and charged at the published monthly rate.

5. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for supplying content, images and information you have the right to use, and for responding to review requests within agreed timescales.

Where access to your website, hosting or business accounts is required, it must be granted by an authorised person through a secure process. Passwords must never be sent through website forms.

6. Third-party services

Domain registration, hosting, SimplyBook.me subscriptions, payment processing and other third-party platforms are subject to their own terms and charges, arranged separately unless expressly included in your agreement.

Google Business Profile is a Google product. Our fees are for management services only and are not charges imposed by Google.

7. What we do not guarantee

We do not guarantee search engine rankings, Google verification outcomes, enquiry volumes, booking volumes, traffic levels or revenue.

We do not guarantee that every existing website can support direct integration of third-party booking tools. Compatibility is assessed before installation is agreed.

8. Intellectual property

On full payment, ownership of the delivered website content and design passes to you, excluding third-party components, fonts, plugins and platforms which remain subject to their own licences.

9. Maintenance allowances

Website care plans include a defined monthly work allowance stated in your agreement. Unlimited support or unlimited changes are not offered. Unused allowance does not automatically carry over unless agreed.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Company details, registered address and dispute contact information must be completed here before publication.
